Drop of Change is a blog about creating, dealing and enjoying life with its constant changes.
It might be what you might call a Gen-Y blog, but really it is a blog about much more than just being a product of a generation.
It is about personal and social responsibility, environmental issues, and sustainability.
It is about how technology shapes our lives, social networks, and entrepreneurship.
It is about an engaged philosophy, a curious spirit, and mindful action.
It is about personal health, creative fitness, and delicious food.
It is about vagabonding, creativity, and writing.
It is about life in the times we live in connected to our individual and communal stories.
It is about changing our lives, our communities, our world for the better drop by drop.
Drop by Drop
What do you mean?
Meaningful and sustainable change is rarely cataclysmic. It is more often reached through mindful, guided, reflective action alongside inclusivity, openness, and critical feedback.
Like a drop of water upon stone, slowly wearing a groove deep that last many years.
It is a pursuit of that life – embodied by curiousity and mindfulness.
More About Carl
I grew up in the woods of Maine, went to university and lived in Montreal, got kicked out of Canada, lost a NYC job in the economic collapse of 2008. I vagabonded for a year throughout the United States and have recently set up a home base in New Orleans alongside some amazing folks where I get to dance to live hot jazz and where I’ve cofounded a local New Orleans weekly newsletter.
I am a writer, lindy hop instructor, social media aficionado, technology consultant, reformed slacker, vagabond, design-thinker, and philosopher by training.
I help curious minds create a sustainable life doing what they love.
