How To Connect You To Me

Disclaimer: This isn’t a how to post giving you info on how to connect with others, it’s a post on how you can connect with me.  Proceed as you like.

I’ve been wondering how I can connect more with you, my readers, in the many avenues that are available to us in the digital age.

I have been blogging here for a few months now, having moved away from the seed that was Slacker Reform, and want your feedback, comments and suggestions on what you feel differentiates (or should differentiate) Drop of Change from the millions of other blogs out there.

Ask you to connect with me.

The simplest thing that came to mind:

Now you don’t need to pick up the phone and call me, although that’s always a possibility, but you can connect with me and the rest of the Drop of Change community members in a few places.

Drop of Change on Facebook

Why make a Facebook page for a blog?  I want the members of this community to have a place to engage in discussion, sharing and posting links, and be connect with each other.  So, why redesign the wheel when Facebook has already done it for me.

Join the Drop of Change Facebook page and connect with members of the community individually.  Share links, stories, etc.

Carl on Facebook & Twitter

You can also connect with me personally on Facebook and Twitter.  I’ve met many fantastic people on these networks who have gone on to become students, friends and mentors.

On both networks I share links, updates on my travels and life in general (some mundane, some more important).  If you want a more personal look into who I am and what I do, connect with me on Facebook and Twitter.

Send a Question

I added the Question page so that people could shoot me ideas, questions, thoughts and comments on Drop of Change without having to dig through pages for an e-mail address or anything of that sort.  I love answering these questions and connecting one on one with individuals via e-mail.

By filling out the contact form on the Questions page, I get an e-mail straight away.

Subscribe to the Newsletter

Lastly, I send out a (usually) weekly newsletter that is part post, part meditation and part challenge.  In it I share a few links that I’ve found interesting or helpful, a quote or thought that has peaked my interest that week, as well as a short writeup of the featured topic of that newsletter.  The newsletter usually ends with an exercise or set of questions to get you thinking.
